He did very well riding in the truck for nearly 17 hours. He ate and was active most of the time in a large cage on the back seat.

  • My cats and bunny love each other. They sleep together and groom each other. I wonder if they know they are different animals sometimes.

It's been a while since this video. Do you still have him? How's he doing?

  • @wingedsweetheart Yes, we still have him and he is doing well. The head tilt has not improved but he has learned to manage with it very well. We have hoped that someone would step up and want to adopt him but realized that it is not likely. We just completed another trip up North with him, and he did very well again on the ride just as he did in this video from two years ago.

We just had a rabbit adopted to a family with three cats...they get along great -- grooming and playing together.

  • What a sweety he is!! such a little fighter =D

  • Thanks, he is still doing fine, but must be restricted to a small area. We need to put an updated video of him on here as he has grown quite a bit and is still quite playful. He'll be a year old soon.

  • Ripley is very accepting and easy going with Peanut and Cinnabunny around, and they both will come up and groom him too, but as soon as he makes one of his funny movements, they get defensive and box / bite him. Peanut and Cinnabunny stayed home and were cared for by a neighbor girl that is a real bunny / animal lover.

  • I think we could handle the time but you bring up a good point with other rabbits not understanding his moves. I have no idea how Mog would react. Mog is laid back but he is the boss for sure. You know what I mean. How is R with other rabbits? Is he laid back with others? Did you take Peanut with you on this trip? Who cares for your other bunnies when u are away?

  • We would definitely allow you to adopt him if you really wanted to go through that, but you must understand that he requires a lot more attention and time than even the normal time-consuming rabbits. Of course there is no guarantee of the relationship with Mog either, so it could be a real tough situation.

  • He does great being able to run around, but he still has his issues with the flipping and rolling out of control. He is OK to roam as long as it is supervised, but if left alone, he needs to be kept in a corral. We currently have a large cage that he is kept in when we can not be around, but he will be moving out to a corral this weekend. Our rabbits are freaked out by his sudden fliiping and think it's aggressive, so they want to fight him. I fear that most rabbits will be the same.

  • As I said before, I would gladly take him if I knew Mog would get along with him. We do not confine Mog at all and would not confine any bunny unless we absolutely had to so it would be important that they got along and could both roam around. Ripley does look like a great bunny though. I would never let my wife hear me say this but it's tempting to fly down and bring him back. She would hold me to those words! That is sort of how Mog came to live with us ...LOL.
