In the Third Eye chakra we find the functions of the knowledge. It is the seat of the mind as well as the projection of the will. Open and in harmonious function it provides for us the ability of the intuition and extrasensory perception as well as to the manifestation by strength of thought.
The Third Eye chakra is responsible for the penetration of the creative ideas originating in the centre. If the third eye is open, the adequate actions follow the ideas by which they can materialise in the physical world.
Blockades in this Chakra express themselves physically by headaches or illness of the senses. Emotionally the blocked person has to fight with concentration weakness and learning weakness. Also an excessive timidity can be sign of a blockade in this area.

A person whose third eye is activated possesses high powers of imagination. The third eye helps to transform a raw idea into a mature, detailed image.
Who has developed his third eye, can handle masterfully also with negative thoughts and transform this into positive impulses. In addition, people with a strongly developed third eye are able to charge images energetically and to dispatch this mentally (telepathy).
A well-balanced Third Eye chakra enables us to perceive oscillations and unspoken things. We are guided towards our inspiration. Here the so-called 6th sense, good discernment and sensitivity develops. Here is also the centre for logical thinking and concentration.
This Chakra enables the person for the self-knowledge. He can be clairvoyant and can receive visions and understand them. Also he is able to send and to conceive telepathic messages. Here sits the inspirational strength and energy of meditation and the prophesy.
