engine doesnt have to be supercharger to run nitro is what i mean. makes a massive difference in torque as well. but it burns real hot

The first one MIGHT have been running 5 - 10% nitromethane mixed with 114 octane gasoline. The second one was surely not running it or even ethanol or methanol. Mixtures over 10% with gas or preferably methanol produce a tell tale exhaust note and flame. And yes, you CAN run nitro (CH3NO2) without a blower. TAD class in NHRA racing permits blown methanol OR injected nitro.

thats what my last comment said. no supercharger is needed. some people just think that unless you see a big blower the car cant run on nitro. nostalgia cars back in the 60's ran the hilborn injectors. the 8 stacks that stand up. they ran nitro even around 60% or more at times. good old video of this tractor tho
