What good is a scope on a shotgun? Can a shotgun reach far enough to warrant one?

@mrhnm The scope is on a slug barrel (the bore is rifled). So with sabot rounds (like really big bullets) you can reach out and tag a deer out to around 75-100 yards. You mileage may vary :)
