Not only did Osgood flop but he deserved the slash. He fucking tried to hit Ribeiro in the face with the top of his stick. If that had caught Ribeiro, who was skating at a fast enough pace, it would have been pretty bad. People are seriously underrating the viciousness of Osgood's move here.

Do you really believe that? There's a difference between not expecting a slash to an area without padding then to an area with padding, and to take an "unexpected" slash to the chest would not hurt, even if he didn't expect it. He has thick pads, it didn't hurt, he was selling it. Don't challenge me on this issue because I play lacrosse and I know what it feels like to take a slash to an area with and without padding, whether I expect it or not. Padded areas never hurt, that's what they're for.
