Enjoying a fall morning with Rocky doing dumbbell retrieves, which we'd not done in a long time.

We didn't warm up, I just set up the camera and started filming so I could analyze what I needed to work on. Have a few areas to polish but overall very happy and certainly very happy with Rocky, he always gives 110% :-)

So happy to have the Training Building in use for classes and private lessons now. Not only to share with students and their dogs, but also I'll have more time for training my own dogs again.

FYI, Rocky has hip dysplasia and his elbows bow a bit, please don't giggle at his gait, he is a sweetheart. He showed lameness when I found him in 2004, x-rays revealed very poor hip sockets. He's not limped since, is on an excellent diet and joint support, and at times I include some TTouch and acupressure.

Rocky is an AWESOME dog full of joy and personality :-)

Thanks for watching and reading this!

  • @Namebadge11, thank you for watching, glad you enjoyed it! :-)) I'm happy to share the "joy of Rocky", he's a wonderful dog. But then again, aren't they all?!

  • Rocky looks so totally happy to be "working" with you! Thanks for sharing, this made my day =)

  • @suhaylett, Glad to hear you tried a Thundershirt and have found it helpful for Bobby's post-ictal phase. The back leg movement exercises sound very good, indeed want to keep the brain-body pathways/connections strong.

Hi, I've watched your Thundershirt video, and am on the EPIK9 group though I don't post much. My Bobby has a thundershirt too now, calmed the post ictal a lot, he's one of the lucky ones, had a 2 year clear run once on Pb, gradually the meds have had to be increased, and he has some ataxia, but I do lots of back leg movement exercises to keep his legs from stiffening up and to keep the brain pathwaysopen (at least I hope that is what it is doing, he will be 10 in April.
