This is a war song from finland, and its war with the USSR (Talvisota/Winter War).

The Translation:
The March of Finland (title)

Civil Guards of Finland demand order,
all Russians out of Country and hit down Red Guard!

Hey, Saksanniemi Jaegerunit, troops of Lapua's and Harma's, Voyri, Kauhava and others!

With Jaegers have success and luck,
On everyone's belt is German grenade.

Hey, Saksanniemi Jaegerunit, troops of Lapua's and Harma's, Voyri, Kauhava and others!

Little Russians in St. Petersburg see nightmare:
Russia is borderland, Finland empire!

Hey, Saksanniemi Jaegerunit, troops of Lapua's and Harma's, Voyri, Kauhava and others!

Forward fellows, dont fear and take an energetic step.
Civil Guards of Finland are the Guardians of liberty!

Hey, Saksanniemi Jaegerunit, troops of Lapua's and Harma's, Voyri, Kauhava and others!

  • Actually, the song is about the liberation of Finland from the russian Empire, and the Civil war in 1917-1918, Not the Winter War.

  • @Vaeltaya Yeah I know that now, you see I am learning Finnish, don't speak it, but at first I thought this song was from the Winter War, it would of been sang by the soldiers during all of Finland's wars though anyway, like Jager March.

  • thx friend i love it :P good pics too

  • @juispurg thx hakala ;)
