Lew Rockwell: World Social Forum and World Economic Forum are interchangeable

The annual World Economic Forum is not the only global forum going on. In Porto Alegre, Brazil the World Social Forum is trying to completely change capitalism. Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff has decided to attend the forum in Brazil that has brought together a medley of social movement groups. Can the World Social Forum radically change the system? Lew Rockwell, chairman of The Ludwig von Mises Institute, joins us to help answer that question.

@giancarlo3000 the truth is not one fraction of gold's value can be or ever has been given by a human being. Gold's true value is the rarity of the atom, decided by SUPERNOVA power since gold can not be made any other way.

Silver has even more value as it kills disease & has many catalytic properties: some of which we use too.

It's a grand lie demanding 100% theft and slavery of the entire planet, which is no economy AND no resources for the PEOPLE, and then pretends it's good for you. TZM = supreme evil. A single person with 3 houses & 5 cars can easily PUT them to use better than YOU CAN alone. It's a PERSONAL ability question. That SINGLE person will REMOVE THEM ALL if it can't be done.

@ytgv3fc7 1) Capitalism is not RBE, you clearly didn't understant what TZM/TVP advocates for. 2) Markets are only the people who can afford to participate in them. 3) A single person who has 3 houses, 5 cars, 2 jets, etc is not unnecessarily accumulating goods? 4) Gold and silver hold value because we give it to them; air, food and water are valuable simply because without them we die. 5) Capitalism and Socialism are not the only systems that human mind can conceive. 6) Abundance is possible.

@ytgv3fc7 They are not opposites, they are both very authoritarian in nature. If you look at them from the old dualist left-right paradigm, they only appear to be different. In the case of facisim, you have government and corps, and unions for that matter, working together. In socialism it is the state that tends to own industries. The difference between facism and scocilaism boils down to who writes the check. Both cases require excessive government.
