Do you have any problem with me using what I learn from these for proprietary games at some point in the far future?

Not at all, that is the point of these. To take what you learn and expand upon it

What I call bad form is harder to read, and can lead to more code rewriting later.
It is neither intuitive, nor a matter of experience.

The only thing that's pathetic is you enforcing a standard that has no bearing on anything whatsoever.
What you call "bad form" is actually just the simpler and more intuitive way for experienced programmers.

Lmao. Yes it is. I don't care what they're called, they're bad form. Stop cockily whining. It's pathetic.

Lmao. No it isn't. Those are called simple if statements and they are perfectly valid, just as the braces are valid. If you're putting in a shitload of code for an if statement, then yea, you should probably use braces. But if you're only doing one simple thing based on the if statement, the braces aren't needed, nor are they looked down upon. That convention is used everywhere.
