@Ponceta: From reading about the Romanov girls, it made me wish that Olga and Tatiana had married before the Russian Revolution. At least they would have been far away from Russia and safe, and they could have avoided the fate that the rest of their family suffered.

All of the children were so stunningly beautiful, including Alexei. I think their parents must have been very protective because before the revolution Olga and Tatiana were well into marriageable age and would have had excellent marriage prospects.

@thmklng They were murdered by Marxist Jews called Bolsheviks during the Russian Revolution so the Russian people would not rally round them and spark a counter-revolution.

The Bolsheviks murdered a total of 17 of the Romanov family, among them was Elizabeth Feodorovna Romanova who was a nun. She founded a Convent and helped the poor and sick in and around Moscow. They tossed her alive down a mine shaft.

My Grandmother lived in Bialowierza , Poland; she was chosen during the Czars Holidays as Nursing Nanny to Anastasia. Those who are familier with the Traditions of the Time should know the honoured value that this represents. I value to this day this fragment of history in being able to say that my Grandmother once nursed Anastasia and knew on a personel basis Maria,Tatiana and Olga
