@bjuszczak6 Yea you 're right about that. My bad I said human eye can see only 60 fps, I 've read an article about it that reallistically human eye can see up to 300 fps but the brain can only process up to 12-15 frames per second, it dumps the rest because it is too much strain and too much information for the brain. The illusion of "smooth and crispy" vision is created by blurring when movement is occurring and it sharpens when there is no movement. Ex: Wave your hands fast in front of you.

@Nightmare1066 the human eye can not see above 23.4fps, not 60. And yet 23.4fps in games seems laggy and not in films. Also 30fps in some games might be totally smooth and you can't see anything above that and in some games 30fps is going to look like much less than 60fps. Well this all depends on the game engine and how the FPS affects the speed of the game it self. This means that in some games even if your monitor is 60Hz you are going to see a difference in speed between 60 and say 100fps.

@Nightmare1066 ok

@JJROADSTA The problem was I couldn't get past 60 FPS with my 1090T + 6870, you said I can't get past 60 fps because my monitor is 60 hertz which is incorrect. It was because Vsync is on, I just need to figure out how to disable it.
-
@Nightmare1066 in my first comment I said you will only be able to see 60fps. This is what you've basically told me so I was right and so were you ok i got some things wrong but we just went round in circles here.
-
@JJROADSTA Dude, you 're clueless, am tired of explaining things to you, open a book and read something, please. Last time, You CAN have more than 60 fps in Batman Arkham Asylum if you turn the Vsync off, thats it, that was the point. I can have 150 FPS in Batman if I turn off Vsync. Even if I have a screen which doesn't even exist yet to show full 150 fps (150Hz refresh rate) I still wouldn't be able to see 150 fps because the human eye cannot see above 60 fps.
-
@Nightmare1066 but if it does not refresh fast enough then how are you supposed to see more than above the monitors rated hertz?
-
@JJROADSTA Well no not really, you claimed that if my screen cannot refresh itself above than 60 Hertz then the game won't be able to produce more than 60 fps which is incorrect.
@chris1abramczyk You can just buy a cheap ass GT240 or upcoming GT 430 and use that as dedicated PhysX with you ATI as primary card. Just needs a simple lil hack to get around nVidias stupid driver block.
