I just got my EpiPen today.. this video was extremely helpful. But I also was told that you can swing your arm and then inject it to the outer thigh that way too.

im a kid and just got an epipen for my severe allergies in summer but im scared to use it cause i saw the needle and it looks like it would hurt

@Duckman1616 Because when you are in anaphylaxis and your brain is focused on breathing a needle going into your leg is the least of its worries. Also, there aren't that many nerve endings in your muscles so you don't feel it. Also, I'm 15, and it didn't hurt, so unless your younger than me (which I doubt) it shouldn't hurt you. Oh yeah, and the best part, it can save you life.

@spenceraperry I'm not buying it. I've been cut by very sharp things before and it hurt like hell, why would this be any different?

Thank you for this video :) it's very usefull, I just recieved my first epipen 3 days ago and after watching this video I feel more comfortable with having it.
