Now here's a tune you'll NEVER hear on those "Classic Rock" stations. Classic Rock my ass. How many times can you listen to "Oye Como Va", or "Stairway to Heaven"????????? Don't get me wrong, those are great tunes but there are so many others, and groups like Cactus who they will never play. Sad.

@amstell13 I was with you until you said Led Zeppelin was a better live band. Sure, when Zeppelin wanted to be good they would be but when they were just shooting the shit (which was a lot) they weren't.

Great stuff, these guys rocked. Like Blue Cheer, hugely influencial but not recognised enough today. I wanna hear some modern bands jam out instead of endless tattoo super compressed attitude crap. John Mayer and Bonnamassa should form a super acid rock group.

@amstell13 - Regarding your comparison of members of Zeppelin to Cactus - Bonham vs Appice = very close / Jones vs Bogert = coin toss / Page vs McCarty = McCarty hands down / Plant vs Day = difficult to compare as the styles are so different (if you want to enter boring or monotonus into the comparison Plant would win / more album sales may be because Zeppelin's career was longer (duh) - better songs = your personal opinion which doesn't equate to your statement 'these are the facts'

@JimBozeman1956 I wish there was a DVD of the 70's line-up. There's a couple of DVDs of the new lineup that is out, but nothing with Rusty that I know of.
