I am recoverying from the davinchi hysterectomy . I had severe endometrious , multiple fibroids largest grapefruit size and cysts. I was just like you and my moron indiana Dr. said it was just depression and fibromyalgia and 3 years later in AZ the gyno who was brilliant out of scottsdale figured it out and I already feel so much better and it is less than a week after surgury. I see you in me.

I had a complete hysterectomy 1992 and thought it was a a cure ..well it was NOT:"( This endo makes you feel like your in hard labor..please watch my video..LOVE TO ALL MY ENDO SISTERS

Well, that is understandable. I'm not crazy about being a guinea pig myself. Birth control has helped me though, I think. I have been on it for about 10 years now for my acne. I think that it may have kept the endo at bay for all that time. I'm not a doctor though so I am not sure about that one. I'm optimistic that the lupron and the pill after will keep the pain away, at least for a few years. :)

Thank you! It means a lot to keep reading, hearing and saying it - Don't Feel Guilty.
These are my problems as well. I have had about 10 good days this month, and by good I mean I did not have crippling pain AND bowl issues at the same time at least 10 days. It is insane how just one good day can mean so much. ~hugs~

Hello fellow Steph! I just watched your videos. I'm glad to see another videoblogger on the subject of Endometriosis.
Yeah the bowel issues are the worst. I'm due again on Friday the 13th so another video is coming up soon...

Stay strong! Just had my first laparoscopy 3 weeks ago. Was in pain for 3 months straight and kept getting misdiagnosed. They thought it was my bladder. Finally I went to the gyno on instinct and they found cysts on my ovaries and endo. After all that, by the time they took the left ovary cyst out it was 10 inches in diameter! Lots of endo too. Hopefully will not have pain in the future. No more pain now! YAY Lupron is starting to get to me though. The night sweats and insomnia are killing me.

Holy crap, that's aweful. Now it makes me wonder about my surgeon. I mean, it took her like 7 months to be honest with me and tell me she didn't actually get ALL the Endo out, that it was on the bladder. What else did she not tell me?!?!
Lupron is terrible. I've not heard one good thing about it yet. Hopefully you can be the one I've heard a Lupron success story from!

Yes, I have wondered if my doctor is telling me the whole truth too. She acts like everything will be fine if I just take the lupron and then go on the pill till I want to have kids. Have you heard bad things about the lupron because of the side effects or its effectiveness? Your doctor didn't recommend it to you? Mine told me I should be on it in the hospital and before I knew it they had injected me. Had no time to think about it or research. On add back therapy too. Hopefully that will help.

I've heard bad things because of the side effects. My doctor did recommend Lupron but I refuse to take it. I am diagnosed Major Depression and having tried the lowest doses of birth control in the past, I know by experience that no synthetic hormone will be right for me. I just don't want to be a guinea pig anymore.
