If you had ANY clue what an AT&T employee has to endure, you would know that we deserve every penney we are getting paid now. We have to be @ work everyday, rain, snow, sleet, ice, hurricanes, tornado's...and God forbid you can't work that day because we aren't allowed sick days or personal days. If your child is sick and in the hospital then you may as well hang it up cause your absence will not be excused. If you're LUCKY there MIGHT be a vacation day slot available on the vacation calendar

What is really "ignorant" or "sick" is passing judgement on AT&T employees without researching the facts first.

worked 1 job on Zombie Jesus day, it was a U-verse install with VOIP and a ported number.....and coincidentally it was the home of a AT&T first level manager/ordained minister...(thats an oxymoron if I ever heard one). No "normal" human would have the heart to schedule that day.

No offense, don't work for AT&T nor am I a CWA member, but really...lots of info about getting ready to strike, but didn't the contract expire almost two weeks ago? So are you guys going on strike or not?
