@urdadddy1 if you are not towing anything the 5.4 is a decent motor but put any kind of weight behind it and it is way to underpowered ik this because i had an 03 f250 with the 5.4 and i towed a 28' toy hauler and as soon as any hill came up it worked that motor to death to keep up with other traffic. I have since sold that truck and bought an 08 f350 dually with the 6.4 powerstroke and could not be happier nothing i have ever drove tows better upgrades i have dpf/cat delete and a tuner
