Arthur/Gwen | Almost Lover [[Season 2 Spoilers]]

MERLIN SEASON 2 SPOILERS. Up to 2x04 A new fandom!! Yey!! I've always been a big fan of Merlin from the beginning, this series is only getting better and better! Go Arthur/Gwen forever:) This is kind of a document of their relationship so far in series 1 and 2 up to episode 2 (with one clip from episode 3 that was in the trailer). I know that they will eventually end up together like in the legends but... at this moment I think Arthur is going to try and ignore Gwen because Uther would never let them be together. So this is from both of their perspectives at the end of episode 2... (SPOILER) where they have to say goodbye for the time being.

By the way does anyone else swoon whenever Arthur calls her "Guinevere"? AAAAA! lol

Oh and I changed the titles a little to incorporate the new fandom :)

@Sibzlipz those french people back those times where idiots. Arthur and Guinevere was a beautiful love story, before the bastard called Thomas Mallory destroyed their love and Guinevere. My favourite part of their love story is how they meet in the welsh version. SO CUTE.

@TheAngelgirl1992 You're right! The affair, and Lancelot himself was never even mentioned until 700 years after the original legend. Added by some french nobility who thought that the story was lacking in "courtly love"

@Groovychik37 WRONG. that isn´t actually the ORGINAL version. orginal Lancelot never was a part of the legend. that version was added 700 YEARS later then the orginal one. The Orginal one their was no Lancelot, there was no cheating part, in that version GUinevere was never a cheating, brainless bimbo who clearly doesn´t do ANYTHING right in the french version. Orginally Arthur and Guinevere where the ultimate love couple.
