Me singing " Imagine " by Eva Cassidy (John Lennon cover)

Heres me singing another of my favourite songs, " imagine" originally by john lennon. The version I am singing is again inspired by my idol - eva cassidy but ive thrown in my own little bits too !

I am SO SO sorry its just a picture of me with a recording of my voice again, I promise promise the next video will be of me singing live, but I am so busy at the moment, people were so positive about my last video so I thought I'd throw another one up here quickly while I try to find the time to record one of me singing live !

I appriciate all the comments left, positive or otherwise its great to know what people think of my music, as you can see this is a slightly updated photo as I am a brunette - but still blonde at heart !

Everytime I listen to Katie singing this I know I am listening to a true expression of inner beauty and purity. Two days ago I learned that a close friend of over 22 years was not going to emerge from a coma as a result of an accident on monday. His beautiful son Nathan is not yet one year of age and it hurts me so much that he will not share his sons first birthday with him. Katie's 'imagine' is an indelible reminder of the fragility of life for me.

To me, there is no way of singing something wrong if it's from the heart and if it's your own rendition of it. Singing is not some mechanical thing where you HAVE to sing it exactly like a carbon copy of how someone else sings it. I think that you can definitely prefer a certain version of the song, but neither are wrong.

too add to my last comment. the john lennon one is one of my fave songs ever. and i mean ever. but i have to say, the stuff you have added to this and the bits you have changed, have actually made it better.....and i didnt even know that was possible.... seriously good.....
