I devised a better strategy than this from nintendo. You See, In world 2-5, Nintendo was focusing on killing us when they left us a way to get 99 lives in one go, I need a video to show you... but you need a yoshi, and in the place in which the spiked koopa are being dropped down and go back and forth, use the yoshi to eat one then spit it out into the area. then as the Cloud Koopa throws them down, switch platform to prevent to being hit, then you have 99 lives PS. Only works for one character.
