Student groups had to re-harmonize a song (any song they choose) being sure to include a common-tone diminished seventh, an altered dominant and an enharmonic modulation. They were required to create and turn in sheet music, as well as perform their piece. Groups were arranged so that each consisted of a piano player, a singer, brass or wind instrumentalist and string player.
