Someone post a video with Flashing Lights and loud sudden sounds in Video Responses, making it look like something that can calm you down in case of Epilepsy.I'm sure that doesn't exist,but...try something like Jazz, perhaps an Epiliptic guy will believe ya :D
Thanks. There's this kid in my class who has seizuers.. so if I find him in the hallway and he's falling then I could help him and get someone to get help. o:
I don't often have an obvious triggers but one dramatic that was easily identified - last summer I went to Florida to see the final landing of the space shuttle -
THE DOUBLE SONIC BOOM FROM THE SHUTTLE DROPPED ME LIKE A ROCK
great videos I have granmal seizures I also have depression witch does not help b/c sometimes I just will stop taking my meds but the main reason why I am commenting is today I had a few in a raw want to the ER I am fine now but you guys did a great job and finally have some good seizure info videos also a tip that I have been told is that if people crowd around the person it can make them last longer do not no if it is a myth r not
These videos are great. My Junior year I saw a freshman boy fall and go into a seizure. It scared me and I ran to the closest person I could find for help. I was scared for him and couldn't imagine what it felt like. But when I would go to bed or wake up I would have "twitches" by Nov. 12th I could barely hold anything without dropping it, then on that day I had not one but 2 granmal seizures. I lost a weeks worth of memory and have had em ever since. I had one on Christmas infront of my nephew
Thanks for this cuz I have epilepsy. But I thought my seizures weren't happening after 15 years of being seizure free until my husband told about what happens while I'm sleep and my sister also told me. I just don't know how to talk to my doctor about it, I'm embrassed about it. Some one please give me some advice.
Great work. I'm glad you differentiated between those who have or know they have seizures and those that occur without an obvious seizure. I was at a presentation once and the presenter spoke to participants as though they would not have epilepsy if only they behaved and did not trigger them. You are helping others NOT stigmatize or stereotype. Thanks.
My boyfriend has epilepsy and I used to be scared at what might happen if he has one around me, now I know what to do. thanks!!!
