  • I see guys at the gym all the time jerking themselves back while doing seated rows and lat pulldowns. Is this even safe?

  • Awesome, keep it up dude! What I like to do is the 1-1-3 technique. That means, like if I'm doing a bicep curl, I'll take 1 second to bring the weight up, because when you do that you're engaging more muscle fibers. Then, take 1 second to rest the weight while contracting, and then 3 seconds to lower the weight.

  • Yes this is true I'm a freshman in high school and just started working out. I've been going to the gym with my older cousin who has been working out for bout 10-15 years. He always makes sure I go slow with strict form for 8-12 reps with all my wokouts. Even though I've only been working out for about 3 months intensly I've seen an improvement. You said it all here in this vid great job.
