Andrew Himes tells the story of Tommy Lee Hines, a black man who was unjustly convicted of rape by an all-white jury in Alabama in the 1970s. Himes tells how he later discovered his own great grandfather, a Baptist preacher, had been a Klansman in Texas in the 1920s, and he discusses the contradiction between racial injustice and the teachings of Jesus.
