Morris (1901-1970) is demanding millionaire businessman Walter Tyson. Diagnoed with a brain tumor, the irascible CEO is not used to getting his own way.
How innocent the times were. Notice how a cancer patient is able to puff away in a private room in front of his doctor!

That's the always wonderful Neva Patterson as Tyson's long suffering secretary. Neva had a long career on Broadway & TV. Often mistaken for Nina Foch, Neva is still with us at 88 though she hasn't graced the screen of late. Hello Neva, wherever you are!

I got your message and immediately checked the LA Times and saw Neva had passed. She was a lovely woman. I met her years ago in NY when she was starring in Romantic Comedy with Karen Valentine. She was a PRO, plain & simple.She was an actress who could command your attention away from the biggest stars whether it be Tracy & Hepburn or Hoffman & Redford. She will be well remembered.
