The world's OLDEST working steam locomotive (153 years old to be precise!), was in Mysore, India for a special run - as part of the Mysore Dasara 2008 festival celebrations. This steam loco also happens to be one of Aditya's favorite trains - and so we had to make a trip to Mysore just for this! :) Pardon the 'camera shake' - I'd gladly put this down to my excitement in trying to get the 'best shot' without falling onto the tracks!
Good thing they don't let people ride on the engine. It's too fragile. I still think that Talyllyn and Dolgoch from Wales and their fictional twins Skarloey and Rheneas are still extremely old, built in 1855.
i wish they'd just leave the poor whistle alone! otherwise its ok :P
