Lightning Storm New York City

Severe lightning storm strikes new york city! june 10th 2008. I set my camera to rapid shoot mode, and 891 pictures later I had a good 40 shots to use! for copyright sake, the music used is from the BladeRunner soundtrack, titled "BladeRunner (End Titles) by Vangelis (1994)

this is beautiful! we had the same storm in toronto, same night. i went running in it, pretty wild. glad someone got this footage. but wait, where's the face? 1.04 i can't see no face...

yeah one of my favorite things to do is go running in storms!!!! gives you a sense of power! anyway the face actually starts at 1:04 and is above and slightly to the right of the smoke stacks

Where I am in brooklyn i only got lightning an dthunder no rain like manhattan did, it skipped me (the rain to my North and EAst drection, it was a close call though, we ddidnt even get drizzlee

one time there was so much lightning where i lived and a huge tree caught on fire

I was at Citi Field when the storm that took down hundreds of trees in Central Park hit Queens. A bolt hit on top of the scoreboard. It was a constant barage of bolts for 20 minutes..

Btw I meant to say it looks dystopian. Not apocalyptic. Like Blade runner as this music so aptly puts it :) Good choice on the music I absolutely hate it when people ruin their vids by dubbing it with teen-angst filled punk rock. Word of advice: no lyrics usually offend no one.
