I'm trying to find a way to paint some fake Dr Marten boots that are a shiny material. Is there anyway I can do this?

You'd want to use a Krylon Fusion spray paint in a color that you like. The paint is made for plastic and works well on leather. It's going to be sticky because almost all spray paint on leather or fake leather gets sticky so you'll want to spray it with a Minwax Clear Aerosol Lacquer. This stuff will seal it and take away the stickiness.
