A comment was even made after the play that Jim had to be fired! o man, my stomach hurts, I forgot all about this!! thanks for posting.. I wish there was a clip out there that showed this debacle in its entirety!

hahaha.. I remember seeing this play and laughing my ASS OFF!!! Jim Zorn's face was priceless, like he just knew it would work. They flashed the play, had to call time out, then he CALLED THE SAME STUPID ASS PLAY!! the announcers were laughing the whole time... even after the play, Jim Zorn still looked clueless.. this was a truly EPIC NFL moment!!

@Imdobest great. now we can just forget it. XD
i'll NEVER know why my 'Skins EXCEL at making the worst possible calls at the worst possible times! like simple-yet-fundamentally-bankr
upt pass plays designed to go short of the 1st down marker on 3rd downs, creating yet more work for woefully-confused, deeply-depressed receivers. that RARELY happened in the Art Monk Era, as they then had an offensive philosophy of passing BEYOND the marker, making it EASY for receivers to succeed by catch-n-fall. -
@dukenthaylor based on the fact that the QB had an eligible receiver on a go route in the proximity of where the QB was throwing and based off of the fact that this is a lone polecat formation which gives the QB almost no time to throw, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that the receiver was supposed to catch the ball and gain some big yards for his team.

@Imdobest really??? if you and he can tell how they were SUPPOSED to score from that, then explain it to me!

delete this

@dukenthaylor no, I think the guy posting the comment can tell whats supposed to happen at that point but he doesn't know what happens.
