  • @shagster007 No, it works perfectly without the game mode too, the game mode changes only a colors a little bit and something like that.

  • @dragondcdc It can play AVI files, we watching movies in this format... I don't know what can be the problem...

  • @RyoGuiRen

The TV itself is 50hz, the clear motion rate is Samsung's new way of measuring how the TVs handle motion,

Example 50hz 5 series is 100hz motion rate

    200hz 7 series is 400hz motion rate.

It means nothing and is just a tricky way of advertising

But: the tv is very good, perfect for gamers too, no lag, so I advise you.

  • just a question i wanna buy this tv but hoe the input lag really ? is it that bad ..and for shooters like mw3 would you recommend me this tv ?

  • @dragondcdc I guarantee that there isn't input lag at all! I like to play with shooters too and i haven't got any problem with Samsung D5000 (the multiplayer and online game are perfect too)! This tv is a good choice for gamers! :)

  • @TheNamikazeMinato4 oke thanks man :) im gonna order it right away !! thanks again :D

  • @dragondcdc Your welcome :) Enjoy your new tv! :D

  • @RyoGuiRen The cause of lag is the camera that the uploader used in this video. I have the same tv and it's great. Comes up with a free bluray player here in the Philippines.

  • we have the same tv : )

  • @TheNamikazeMinato4 From the video it seems that Resident Evil 5 have lots of blur :( , it's my main concern about this TV and it's always connected to the 50Hz thing.

Can you choose the 100Hz option on TV during games? Does it change much? If yes what are the results? smooth momevent, artifacts?

  • I'm looking for this TV, a 40" Samsung D5000, I heard that it had a very low input lag, great contrast and blacks etc.

    But I also read that it isn't a real 100Hz, its only a 50Hz :(

Do you see trails, clouding etc. during motion scene in fast games?

Can you activate the 100HZ Clear Motion Rate even in games? If yes what are the result? lag and artifacts?

  • There is a setting called game mode on the tv, do you need to switch it on for games to play properly?

  • @TheNamikazeMinato4 ej i finnaly got the tv today :D amazing and for me i dont see any lag :P .. but i cant seem to play avi files on the tv ? i also activated the divx registration but it cant play the files any ideas ? gr
