Big Wave Windsurfing at Jaws January 20, 2011

Watch two of the worlds top windsurfers, Robby Naish and Robby Swift, rip it up in giant waves at Jaws on the north shore of Maui. The wind came up in the early afternoon and the windsurfers were ready!

I briefly met Robbie at a regatta in Cabarete many years ago. What a nice guy. He treated a sponsored-by-nobody grunt like me very kindly. That says a lot about him, imho. Being a professional is more than just skill set. it is demeanor, and Robbie is an excellent representative of windsurfing, imho... not to mention a kick ass sailboard innovator.
