I'm glad a 2nd wave of shoegaze happened. I love that they sound MBV just like I love that Blonde Redhead sound like Sonic Youth. ...Check out Amusement Parks on Fire. It's one of the guys from Ride.

oh come on people, loveless was ONE album and it was amazing, but I want more shoegaze, I'm only jsut getting into the genre and I'm fucking happy. you can't "copy" shoegaze, you can only make more of it, how the fuck is that a bad thing?

They def pay homage to MBV texturally, but I think these guys are way tighter and more focused as far as songwriting. Just my vibe....

Hey MBV stopped making music in the 90's (hope they release another album sometime) So the Fleeting Joys are great considering MBV is not present.
