im so proud of the aussies during ww2.my great grandfather died on the monte video,corporal robert dalziel,and my grand father william maurice thomas and his 3 brother john thomas harold thomas and brian thomas all served in png and surrounding islands.on my mothers side gordon william steen lance corporal seved in ww1 as a machine gunner and was gassed by the germans,he survived and fought in png during ww2 also my par who was epileptic occupied japan towards the end of the war.proud family.
