Needed: Neodymium magnet, you can easily get one inside any old Hard Disc drive.. just google it.

Other kind of magnet might not be powerful enough to unlock it.

Necessaire: Un aimant au Néodyme, vous pourrez en trouver facilement dans les vieux disques durs.

Un autre type d'aimant, peux ne pas être suffisant pour déverouiller le mécanisme

  • I've got a very small version of this from a laptop hard drive will it work with that? or will the magnet not be strong enough?

  • @JakeSCANDALS Well just try, you'll see. nothing to loose y trying.

  • can you use the neocube neodymium magnets? if you dont have a disc drive to get one out of

  • @ImaSexyBeast11 what can i say, it's safe to try : ) it could work if its big enough

  • umm what kind of hard drives?

  • @CoolioDudeee Any mechanical hard-drive , not the SSD ones.

and it better to do with a big hard drive (forgot the size) , not the ones used in laptops.

  • wait so lyk from a desktop computer hard drive?

  • Malheureusement ça ne marchera pas avec tous les modèles d'antivol sur le marché.

  • @magnetpulse "6.5Kg of pull force" to attract 5 ridiculous loose beads? ......

    Any neodyme magnet works, period.
