A video about feeding time at Desteni Ranch when we do general checks like checking for ticks or injuries. We groom the horses, clean their hooves, take their temperatures - plus enjoy some interaction with the Equine team at Desteni

  • It is a pity that not many horses are that lucky. When I think about the thousands of animals who endure some kind of abuse, I see that we are nothing but pests. Animals express themselves they trust us, and then boom in the slaughter house but before that mental and physical abuse of course. We really act as if we are the only ones on this planet.

  • Does anyone no were I can by a barn or a barn kit for like 1000 bucks or cheeper ? for like one or 2 horses

  • OMG THE TWO GIRLS (HUMANS) HAVE THE NICEST LONGEST LEGS EVER I HATE YOU <3

  • I dont like the stable

  • Interesting...the barn was interesting too....who designed it?

  • Personally I always kill my cigarettes on clear ground, make sure it is dead and keep the cigarette bud in my pocket and throw it away at the end of the day. So far, no Stable fires have happened here

  • you shouldn't smoke near horses because if you drop the cigar on the hay but you don't know it could cause i fire.[i found this out on black beauty ]

  • It looks like great care is given there.

Is there no other way of checking their temperatures?

  • everyONE is so gentle so cool :)

  • awesome ranch~ thanks so much for sharing :)

  • The video was filmed in summer, when the grass was lush and rich. These horses do not get much exercise. they are all very fat and their food is increased/decreased according to individual requirements.

If your horse looks healthy and is not buzzing with excess energy, then there is no reason to change his/her food. listen to what he/she tells you.

these horses also live out, so they are constantly grazing in mixed-grass pastures.
