I haven't had enough time to play guitar in ages, and recently decided to upgrade my pickups since I really started feeling the lack of tone. This is just a random crappy improvisation video over some random chord progression I made up to test out the tone (lead). Please let me know if it's good enough, because I have confidence issues when it comes to achieving a solid tone :P Cheers everyone

The video goes off at 1:40 (empty camera battery)

  • Very nice tone u get from this X6, im going to change p'ups in my x11 too but im looking for something active. ur playing is very nice :D i like it, but i think your guitar i little out of tune : (

  • @SeverPL thanks :) it sounded like crap before, I couldn't sustain a note for shit. Also yeah it's out of tune since my strings are nearly dead. The active Seymour Duncan Blackouts were on my mind, but after doing research I thought these would be ideal for my setup. Also they're a lot cheaper! :D

  • I like the tone a lot! A tad too much delay for my taste, but tons of people like having a lot of it for lead tones for sustaining notes, so nothing wrong with that. The playing is excellent, as usual.

  • @123454321qcat It's been a long time mate, as always really appreciate your comments :D Thanks! Btw, are you posting any new videos? Would love to see new stuff from you.

  • Yeah The pickups sounds great man, sounds like there's just a little too much reverb of delay in the tone though

  • sexy .. would you marry me?

  • wow, been a while man. Sounds good to me. New set of strings and you should be good :) Peace man

  • @SatanKreator I've been going through some stuff so I haven't posted in a couple years, and I quit playing for a while. But I'm back to playing so if I get around to it I may start uploading again :D

  • Full of feelings !

  • That's a really nice sound effect
