I heard that one idea that the guys at Headstrong originally wanted to do a Steampunk-themed House of the Dead. I'm so glad they chose an exploitation movie theme, which they supposedly thought of from watching Planet Terror. Before I knew that, I actually thought that House of the Dead: Overkill is basically the perfect video game adaptation of Planet Terror if there actually was one. I guess I can say there sort of is.
