Hi! I want to be sure if this is good as a second guitar to play thrash / groove metal like pantera, i need someone to help me, sorry if my english is bad

You can get a good clean sound from anything, be it a Gibson L-5 or an EMG equipped 8 string djent machine. Honestly, I've heard good clean sounds from both guitars

this guitar used to live at my house.. it was in the shop for a repair & Pat was checking it out... the pickups were a set of Michael Schenker custom wounds (Lights Out, IIRC).
