Canon PowerShot SX1 IS Unboxing

Unboxing of the SX1 IS from Newegg. It is also available from Amazon and many other online stores. I don't know how the batteries broke open in the box. UPS shipped it maybe they are the ones to blame or maybe the plastic wrapping was not very good. Newegg did a great job packaging it and sending it on time. You might also be interested in the Canon PowerShot SX10 IS it is less expensive.

It works in both shooting and review modes Shooting buttons: 1) Zoom in 2) Zoom out 3) Shutter release 4) Display Review buttons: 1) Zoom in on pic 2) Zoom out on pic 3) 4 directional arrows to change between pics and move around while zoomed in on a pic 4) Display 5) Menu

Thank you so much. I sent an email to Canon asking this question and they said "it's for shooting and playback". So I'm thinking "wow that tells me a lot". LOL. Thanks again for telling me exactly what wanted to know. I'm going to get one too. I saw some very impressive photos taken by this cam on flickr.

From Canon: "ISO can be expanded to 3200 when you select the ISO 3200 Special Scene mode." I checked on my camera and that is true the highest ISO is usually 1600 but you can set it to 3200 in special scene mode.

what about the ISO in it... i heard that they gad upgreaded the ISO to 3200 .. is that correct ??
