  • My vinyl is getting fairly scratchy now after nearly 39 years, so THANK YOU! Imho, the Jarrett solo is the tie that binds this piece. I LOVE the other solos, but it could be that this is the reason Davis hired Jarrett, just as he is said to have hired Gil Evans specially for "Kind Of Blue"'s "Flamenco Sketches". We owe an incalculable debt!

  • oh and by the way what did the drummer have for breakfast????
