Media Bias - How To Influence Public Opinion

On 30th August 2006, Yahoo news included 389 photos, out of which:
66 were of destruction caused by Israel in Lebanon,
29 were of the grieving families of "militants" killed by the IDF,
38 were accompanied by text stating that Israel sidestepped or refused Kofi Annans demand that Israel stop its "crippling blockade of Lebanon".
There is NOT ONE photo of damage to Israel caused by Hizbolla's thousands of rockets launched indiscriminately into the civilian population,
there is NOT ONE mention of Hizbolla's refusal to diasarm,
the word TERRORIST DOES NOT appear anywhere!

Now that's how to influence public opinion!

To be fair I should mention that about 3 or photos of a bombed Israeli school can be found on a different slideshow, entitled "Ehud Olmert" - Go figure! Then again, why should I be fair?

Here's the thing - do I sit idly by while the Hizbolla fire 4,000 missiles into the Israeli civilian population (which by the way would mean that even more rockets would have been fired) - or do I try and take the rocket launchers out? It really is a lose lose situation

My point is this, decimating civilian populations in order to kill a few terrorists is just as morally reprehensible as what hezbollah does- only we dont call it terrorism do we?? we call it israel's right to defend itself. Now thats a debate id like to see on fox news..then you may be able to convince me of your arument that theres a media bias against israel. until then, forgive me if i remain skeptical.

Never watch Fox so I can't say whether they're biased or not - However, if they are they're still the ONLY network as the rest of them are definitely biased the other way.

During the 2006 conflict one Isrealie civiian was killed and a few dozen Israelie houses damaged (not nice I agree). However on the Lebonees side approximatly 170 civilians where Killed and many bridges, roads, power stations, and hundreds of houses destroyed by Israelie forces.
