@narwhal17 Man, I love you. I feel the same way. I mean, for instance, when Rose/Donna/10/anyone left in RTD's era, I felt sad; even the one with Martha and Captain. But with SM's...None. I mean, SM granted has better speech, plot twists and humour, but he lacks the emotion I felt for these characters. When David left, I almost cried (And yes, I'm a man). When Rose left (First time) I did cry, man! When Amy/Rory/River/11 leaves, I bet I wont feel the same emotion... This music's sad too... :'(

@TheAfroThunder1 Exactly. :( Some people view it as just melodrama, but I think they're wrong. It was poetry. I like Smith/Steven Moffat, but beyond laughter and surprise at the random plot twists, I don't experience anywhere near the same feelings this evokes in me.. Beautiful.

The specials marked the time when Doctor Who matured from a simple saturday night Sci-Fi show to an event with Series 5/6 holding up the quality set by this episode. thumbs up if you agree.
