Julie Lyford, member of Gloucester Shire Council and former mayor ousted for speaking out against coal expansion in the Gloucester Valley, she formed the Gloucester Environment group.

Julie is introduced by restaurant critic Simon Thomsen.


The "Can't eat coal, can't drink gas" rally was held in Sydney on Sunday March 20 and was attended by community activists from all over the state.

    LOL. Mining provides the material your microphone stand is made from - along with the majority, of Australia's export income. PS Lyford wasn't 'ousted', she lost her position in a democratic vote.
