If it was a complete 162 games,I'd would think Montreal would have to slide by either Houston or Cinci in the playoffs,then would of ended up against either Chicago White Sox or the Yankees in the world series,but as far as The Expos performed that year they would likely become the undisputed WS Champs.

Nobody was beating the Yankees that year. That was the year Don Mattingly was supposed to FINALLY get his WS ring. Sadly, it wasn't meant to be.:-(

I just started a baseball league right here on youtube. all the greatest players from their respective teams as well as negro league all stars and AMGPL(LEAGUE of their own) female players, all playing against each other. check out my vids

How come the Expos were only destined for the playoffs in strike-shortened seasons?
