Westfalia was a VW camper conversion (not by VW themselves but factory-approved and sold through VW dealers) on the type 2, both split screen (pre 67) and wraparound screen (bay window) after 67.
Many other companies converted Type 2s into campers, a few VW-approved and many independent firms.
