It's sad because they had a large fan base and were filling seats nightly. To bad there was too much media bullshit; without it it could have survived longer.

I saw it in London and it was a bit different. The closing song was called "Pie in the Sky" which, for me at least, was a stronger song. I do like the message of this one though.

Well, that and the play is a snapshot of a tiny British subculture from 30 years ago that most Brits aren't even aware existed.

This was during previews. George didn't walk in during the song after we opened...his character was dead. But I agree the whole thing should have lived longer.
