I was introduced to this song through Donnie Darko, and it was brought back to life through Gears of War; epic advertising to say the least. Never thought I'd be able to cover this but after 2 viewer recommendations and some practice, I was able to play it. So I thank you for inspiring me to play it on guitar. It's a very dark song with truthful lyrics. Tears for Fears original version was quite fast. When Gary Jules' version slowed it down, the lyrics came across. You can almost contemplate on the lyrics that he's singing. It conveys a dark and intriguing atmosphere of our Mad World.
