@400mattandryan you should use first the long range and call constantly, when you see the fox you need to use the close rage and call in pauses until it is in range

@gerardoporrass ok thanks, i have a circe fox call and there is 3 modes. it says longe range, close range and medium range. which one should i use? im going out fox hunting in an hour its mid day with about an inch of snow on the ground, i think the close range call sounds the most realistic which one should i use? and should i rapidly call or call about 4 or 5 times and wait 5 minutes and call again or should i call constanly? its my 1st time going because i am a deer hunter

@400mattandryan mine is 1200f/s in .22 cal, sure you can take one, you just need a shot to the head or the heart

Stick to head shots for fox with a smallbore airgun like yours. A miss is clean and a kill is cleaner.
