George Hrab (www.twitter.com/georgehrab) asks an open question about YouTube while playing at for SkepSoc (http://www.twitter.com/skepsoc) at the University of Surrey.

Anyone developing this software should respond directly to George, who will almost certainly be thrilled.

  • And that had WHAT to do with skepticism??? I've been subscribed to this channel for a long time now. I'd forgotten about it, it's been so long since anything was uploaded. So, I was jazzed when I saw this link in my "in" box. Now, I'm sad and disappointed. For a heady intellectual, that sure was a dumb question. sigh

  • @rriverstone1 That was intended to be humorous but if you're sad and disappointed, feel free to unsubscribe from the channel.

  • It's done through community policing. Whenever someone uploads something inappropriate, it almost immediately gets flagged as such by people who see the video within seconds of it being uploaded.
