Late night chat

Internationals from Czechoslovakia, Sweden, Scotland, America and Italy up late discussing linguistics in the Hanoun house in Sheikh Jarrah in April 2009. Jana Hanoun comes in and offers us food at the end of the video.

These were happier times in Sheikh Jarrah. Three and a half months before the Hanoun and Al-Gawi Families were violently evicted from their homes. Jana Hanoun's teeth were broken when Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) hit her in the mouth knocking her to the floor. Her brother Rami was hospitalized due to injuries incurred during the eviction.

Today, one week after the evictions members of the family still sleep on thin mattress's outside their home in Sheikh Jarrah. This is nothing new in occupied Palestine/East Jerusalem. Despite international outrage more eviction notices have been given by the occupying Zionist government. This will continue until enough people in the world let their so-called leaders know we can not stand it anymore. This will continue as long as Israel has the power and money to do as they please, so boycott Israel today and tell your friends!
