@TheJackhaley123 HERE! People, please remember that Miss America is NOT a beauty pageant, but a scholarship foundation, or scholarship pageant; the swimsuit part of the competition is even emphasized as physical fitness in swimsuit. These women do NOT enter for a modeling contract; rather they must be enrolled at a university, and receive scholarships, even non finalists.
